Level 1 Class Options: AGES 5-7

• 10-10:45, Creative Fusion:  During this highly interactive class, students will be completing Lego builds, working on plank and pattern block challenges, learning new games, playing trivia, and doing all of the group things that students love that we usually don't have a ton of time to do in a traditional class. Topics Covered: critical thinking, collaboration, spatial awareness, social skills

• 10:45-11:30, Lit for Littles:  Reading from a beautiful selection of children's books, Ms. Adrianne guides students to understand the overall concepts of the text and encourages Socratic dialogue to gauge comprehension. Students learn to engage with the text and have a fuller understanding of how to enjoy taking a deep dive into a book to encourage a life-long love of reading. Students are encouraged to act out the story and get their wiggles out!  

• 11:30-12:30, Weather & Water:  From thrilling storms and calming rains to heat waves and cold snaps, explore all the ways things keep growing and changing on our Earth in this engaging science unit. We will be using The Good & The Beautiful: Weather & Water as the spine for this class. Although this is a faith based curriculum, the class is not. This is a half year class and will change to The Good & The Beautiful: Geology in January for session two. 

• 12:30-1, Snack/Play Break: Students may pack a snack and stay to enjoy social time with their friends or can be picked up at 12:30.
